Can anybody help me find such a site? Card Games - 6 Answers - 2007-11-16 18:14:11 Best Answer wow thats a lot of cards. All Answers Answer 1 starcitygames.com is a wholesaling site that might buy your collection. You might be able to make more money on eBay if you do some research as to what your collection is worth but I'd start at starcity. Good luck. 2007-11-16 18:21:39 Answer 2 First e-mail me Im interested. With magic the gathering cards your best bet is finding someone who needs/wants alot of cards fast that way you get paid for your commons too. Otherwise price rares/uncommons individually and commons together and try to sell them that way.Like an idiot Ive sold 2 seperate collections totalling more than 2500 each time to card shops. I got $300 the first time and $100 the second. Of course the first set had beta and unlimited in it...bottom line be careful!! 2007-11-16 18:27:22 Answer 3 wow thats a lot of cards. 2007-11-16 19:21:51 Answer 4 ebay would probably be the best option since you can get great bargains but if you live in australia or new zealand sell them on trademe good luck! 2007-11-16 23:39:40 Answer 5 Your best off buying a "Scrye" price guide. Organize your cards by set, and then color, then look in the guide for the certain set you have stacked in front of you, find the higher priced cards and search your pile for those cards. If they are in the guide at least a couple bucks, they might be worth seperating out for sale as a different lot, but if they only list for $1 you are better off leaving them in the common lot, or grouping them with similar cards (such as all sliver together) -If you have newer sets, just seperate out the uncommons and rares since they have been color-coded for a while (gold or silver set icons) and seperate them by set and color.- To sell them, you can try eBay or the other various sites around. If you already have a brick and mortar store, you can get set up with Beckett.com to start your own virtual store. 2007-11-17 12:33:00 Answer 6 It is tought to get the most out of a magic collection but here are som eguidelines that have worked for me in the past: * Try to sell yourself the cards thru sites like ebay.com. It is a lot easier to go to a store (real or online) but they will pay you between 30% to 50% of the price guide. On ebay you can probably get 60% to 90%. * Do not price all cards. With large quantities (such as this) there are only a handful of cards that are valuable; the rest, usually are cards with a low demand, and willl not affect the total price too much. Price the high demand cards, and the low demands you can price at bulk price. * Altough it is good to buy a price guide, remember that some cards change prices really quick. This depends on what time of the year you will sell your collection. Right now extended season is going to kick in, so some extended cards will go up in price in the next 4 weeks. * Do not trust price guides 100%. A lot of them are not updated regularly and tend to be obsolete pretty soon (this is specially true for printed guides). Good Luck 2007-11-18 07:47:21 |
